I’ve had the goal of becoming a game designer since I was a twelve year old mapping out new levels for Halo: Combat Evolved. Since then, I’ve read books, listened to talks, practiced programming, studied 3D art, attended gaming camps, and even went to college under a major for game designing. To me there’s nothing more exciting than coming up with a clever mechanic that challenges players and seeing the expression on their face when they solve the puzzle I orchestrate for them.
Once I graduate from Champlain College with a major in Game Design, I hope to get a job in the industry and test my skills in planning and balancing mechanics.
